We estimate approximately 30 people will need
hotel accommodations. The out-of-towners will surely have a lot more fun if
we all congregate in one hotel. Our very own Jock Gearhart, retired from the
hotel business a couple of years ago, reserved a block of 40 rooms at one of
the airport hotels for a very reasonable rate. While certainly there are
other airport hotels and many in Philadelphia, we recommend two. For the
sake of a better time, we encourage people to stay at the Holiday Inn.

Transportation |
Rental cars are available at the
airport.
The Holiday Inn and Renaissance hotels have free shuttle vans to/from
airport; you must call the hotel from the Ground Transportation level
near the Baggage Claim.
If you choose to take advantage of activities in the city on Saturday,
you can easily reach Philadelphia by train that runs between the airport
and city.
Brandywine Valley sites are accessible by car.
Can you picture yourself in a yellow school bus? Well, that’s what we
have for you! The Swarthmore/Wallingford School District will transport
people from the Holiday Inn to Tarble Hall Saturday night and return us
at the end of the evening. Leave the driving to them! We anticipate two
runs to & from the campus (schedule will be determined in July).
